The judge loved this image not only for its excellent quality and composition but also for the photographer's ability to capture the moment. Jeremy said: "I spent many hours trying to photograph a small population of Hares near to where I live with varying levels of success. This shot was taken at a place I knew they frequented regularly by laying very still whilst the Hare approached and started nibbling the grass, oblivious of my presence. Thank goodness for a completely silent camera."
