Jim is an accomplished equestrian artist and an active member of the Society of Equestrian Artists. In the past, he has given us his marvellous demonstration ‘The Horse’ and a lovely Suffolk landscape. For 2026 he will be dealing with the intricacies of laying out a landscape and demonstrating the importance of tone to a successful painting.

Art Society Demo by Margaret Glass

A welcome return from Margaret, who is recognised as one of the leading Pastellists of today. She is a past vice president of La Societe des Pastellistes de France, which awarded her the title ‘Maitre Pastellist’ in 1992 and a member of the English Pastel Society. Margaret has won many awards for her pastel paintings. She has more recently built up a reputation as a talented oil painter.

The festival seeks to display a range of printmaking techniques alongside information on how the pieces are created.
