We are pleased to announce that we will be re-launching our Lymphoedema service in November, we will be providing free manual lymphatic drainage and support sessions for people with cancer related Lymphoedema at our centre in Wymondham. Fundraising

We continue to be overwhelmed by the generosity of our supporters. We recently ran our second Golf Day joint with local charity Finnbar’s Force and raised over £4500 to support local people affected by cancer. Save the date for our 2023 Golf Day on 11th October at Bawburgh Golf Club.

Events

We are looking forward to our second Charity Ball to be held on 26th November at Barnham Broom Hotel, tickets are still available to purchase, £49pp which includes a three-course meal and there will be live music, an auction and casino in the evening with lots of great prizes to be won!

We still have a few spaces on our Wreath Making Workshop, supported by Nicky from The Enchanted Willow on Sunday 27th November – places are £35pp and include all materials, teaching and light refreshments. Email Victoria to find out more: victoria@starthrowers.org.uk or call 01953 423304.

Shop

Our new ‘Treasure Trove’ shop continues to be doing well with a constant supply of new items available to view and purchase, we are currently open Mon-Fri from 10am-4pm but watch this space for Saturday openings in November and December. Find our new shop next to the centre on Melton Road in Wymondham.
