I’m a local Zumba instructor teaching at Wymondham Central Hall for nearly a decade. Together with fellow instructor and Wymondham resident Lucy Brooks, we are holding a Dance for Turkey event on Sunday 2nd April from 2-4pm at Central Hall. The event is open to anyone and we are asking a minimum of £5 donation to dance with us at the event. At the event there will also be tea/coffee and donated homemade cakes for £2 so that others who don’t want to dance can still be a part of this community charity event.

We are very lucky to have a wonderful team of instructors including a very talented Zumba star, Natalia Bull who is coming from Cambridge to lend her energy and style to our heartfelt and humble community event.

We have a Zumba instructor friend who stayed with me and presented a Masterclass here several Years ago Ömür Abay. He has lost his father and brother in the earthquake. This sad news has spurred us on to create this event.

We love Wymondham and are always grateful to everyone who comes to support our efforts. A few months ago we coordinated a huge collection of clothing and supplies for Ukraine at Central Hall, so we know the power of the amazing residents of Wymondham and the surrounding area.
