Wymondham celebrated the Queen’s Jubilee in a variety of ways, including intimate gatherings of neighbours on their doorsteps such as this one in Salvia Close. In total around 25 people, including residents, family and friends, turned up for a fun-filled day which included a barbecue, snacks, drinks, music and games. The evening played host to dancing under the festoon lights, drawing on the road with chalk, and sparklers.
It was a great occasion and the residents of Salvia Close all got to know each other that little bit better. We are already planning our summer festivities now with our dedicated WhatsApp group!
