Wymondham Baptist Church is preparing to mark the final stages of its new extension, The Canopy, an important step in its ongoing commitment to serving God and the local community.

After months of planning, building work, and steady progress, the church looks forward to welcoming people into an upgraded and refreshed space designed to support worship, hospitality, community groups, and stronger local connections.

Roots Community Café is set to reopen on 9th September, allowing residents and visitors to experience the new extension for the first time and to enjoy the café’s well-known welcoming atmosphere.

Alongside The Canopy, improvement work has been carried out across the church site, including installing air conditioning and redecorating key areas. The final stage will focus on the church’s School Rooms.

The completion of The Canopy represents a significant milestone for Wymondham Baptist Church, strengthening its ability to provide a warm (and cool), practical, and accessible space for people of all ages in the local community.
