In March, an article in Wymondham Magazine was published about fundraising for Caitlin's Hero Arm from Open Bionics. Thanks to the very generous donations received, we are delighted to say we have surpassed our fundraising target. As a result we are excited to tell you that we now have appointments booked at Open Bionics in Bristol next Tuesday and Wednesday for Caitlin to have casts taken and a test socket made. These will then be developed into a bionic arm and all being well she will collect this from Open Bionics on 21st August. Caitlin will become the youngest person in the UK with an Open Bionics Hero Arm!
