The next indoor evening meeting of Wymondham Nature Group takes place on Thursday 9th March 2023 at 7:30 pm and will feature an illustrated talk by Nick Acheson - “Wild Geese and Winter Wildlife – a thousand miles around North Norfolk on an elderly bicycle”. In the winter lockdowns of 2020-21, Nick cycled more than a thousand miles around North Norfolk on his mother’s 40-year-old cycle, following flocks of Brent geese and pink-footed geese and speaking to the many people whose lives are touched by them. His resulting book, The Meaning of Geese, tells the story of arctic geese faced by changing landscape and climate (published in February 2023).

The meeting will be held at the Town Green Community Centre, Wymondham, NR18 0PW (next to Wymondham Methodist Church).

Wymondham Nature Group (WyNG) is the local members’ group of Norfolk Wildlife Trust. All welcome - admission £2 - further details from Ann Carpenter on 01508 488337.
