Final preparations are underway for a Jubilee trail around Wymondham town centre, that will feature artwork from local business stART Studio, and raise funds for the town’s four primary schools.

The trail, which involves over 40 shops and businesses, has been organised by the PTAs of the town’s primary schools, and is the first time that all four schools have worked together to organise a fundraising event.

Trail sheets will be on sale for a suggested donation of £2, and all money raised will be split between the PTAs of the four primary schools: Friends of Browick Road Primary and Nursery School, Ashleigh Friends, Friends of Robert Kett School and Friends of Wymondham College Prep. Trail sheets will be available to buy from Town Green Garden Café, Yum Yums, Lemon Tree Café, Chapelfield Vets and Reeves. The trail will take place from Saturday 28th May until Sunday 5th June.

As part of the trail, children will be invited to spot fun facts about the Queen and find letters that, when rearranged, will form a word that is connected with the Queen. All correct answers will be eligible for the prize draw, which features a range of prizes, including a luxury Jubilee-themed hamper kindly donated by Waitrose in Wymondham.

Deanna Abrahamson, Waitrose Community Matters Champion, said: “We are delighted to be supporting this event. We hope that everyone enjoys taking part in the trail and that it is a great fundraiser for the local primary schools”.
