Wymondham's Open Gardens event has proved to be a resounding success.

Eighteen beautiful gardens were recently opened to the public and fortunately the weather was kind.

Proceeds of more than £4000 have been shared between three local charities - Wymondham Heritage Museum, Greening Wymondham and Wymondham Nature Group.

A tea party was held the following weekend to celebrate and to thank the participants and sponsors. The amount of effort from the participating gardeners is considerable and much appreciated. Not only did they prepare their garden to look its best but also graciously hosted hundreds of visitors in their private space.
