Morley Festival, South Norfolk’s favourite beer, music and family event is back for 2023. The festival voted top ten in the East Anglian Festival Network Awards, celebrates Norfolk beer, music and arts and is taking place once again in Morley, Wymondham over the Friday 23rd and Saturday 24th June. This is the ninth year the festival has been held with all profits going to Norfolk charities. This year we’re supporting: Norfolk and Waveney Mind the mental health charity that believes no one should have to face a mental health problem alone www.norfolkandwaveneymind.org.uk; Cup-O-T: Wellness and Therapy Services a social enterprise making mental health services accessible at an early stage for young people, families and communities, providing a range of therapies, groups and workshops from their therapy van, in community locations and their Wymondham therapy woodland space www.Cup-O-T.co.uk; and Morley Village & Sports Hall South Norfolk community venue run by volunteer Trustees providing an affordable facility for weddings, functions, meetings, sports - hire spaces, indoor climbing wall, badminton, short tennis, pickleball, table tennis, volleyball and a wide range of classes and clubs for all ages and the home of Morley Youth Football Club and Wymondham Judo Club www.morleyvillageandsportshall.co.uk will benefit.

Friday night is a family-friendly night with live music from Dirty Havana an exciting, energetic rock band and Norfolk's favourite The Lee Vasey Band guaranteed to get you up and dancing, Real Ale & Cider Bar, Gin & Cocktail Bar and delicious Street Food!

SATURDAY Midday - 11 pm

Saturday kicks off with a huge array of activities for all the family including workshops in Circus Skills, Willow, Art, Science, Bushcraft, Bubbles, Storyteller plus Makers Market, Archery, Fun Field Inflatables and Games, Paint Pixies Fun Colour Paint Fight, Foolhardy’s Circus Show, Real Ale & Cider Bar, Gin & Cocktail Bar, Street Food and live music from local festival legends and the musical riot that is The Foreign Locals – reggae, ska, gipsy punk, get ready to be entertained!

“Visitors can sample over 30 Norfolk Real Ales, lots of Ciders, Gins and Cocktails as well as grazing their way around street food stalls, taking part in workshops, shopping, activities, games and the fun colour fight! More than 2,500 people come along to the festival every year and we have raised more than £27,000 for Norfolk charities” says Corinna Pharaoh, one of the Morley Festival organisers.

As the sun goes down the Morley Festival Party comes alive where the Live Music, Real Ale & Cider Bar, Gin & Cocktail Bar and Street Food are the main attractions. The 2023 music lineup is bigger and better than ever before with The Lovin’ Handful one of the best Skiffle, Bluegrass, Amerciana, Indie bands bringing the party, DJ Steve Clarke funky disco house mix from 1990’s Ministry of Sound club DJ then the brilliant The Counterfeit Brits, Indie pop, 90’s UK britpop taking you right back to the start of 1990 and all the way through to 1999 and awesome Fire Show – Burning Man, eat your heart out!
