All aboard the Polar Express this Christmas, as the Mid Norfolk Railway recently announced that tickets for this year’s Polar Express are now on sale.

Do you believe? Will you be joining the Polar Express as it travels to the North Pole to meet Father Christmas? Trains will be running from November right through to 23 December.

This year, the cast for the Polar Express will once again be overseen by MNR Theatrical Director Paul Andrew Goldsmith of the Twisted Reality Theatre. Tickets will be available in Standard class where all seats are grouped in four seat bays around a table or Premium class for those wishing for a little more room around a table for four or two.

Charlie Robinson, the Chairman of the MNR Trust said: “This is an important day for the railway as the revenue we receive from our Polar Express experience forms a vital part of the railway’s income. The funds allow us to continue to ensure that the railway will be here for generations to come and enjoy, just as we have”.

During the magical journey to the North Pole, the Conductor and Chefs will be eager to invite people on board to enjoy a delicious cup of hot chocolate and a scrumptious cookie, while providing entertainment as you travel. Other characters will also be on board and for those who truly believe you will even get to see the Big Man himself.

Passengers are encouraged to wear their dressing gowns and pyjamas in the true spirit of the film. A full range of food and drink will be on sale at Dereham station before the show begins and the Polar Express shop will also be open for a variety of souvenirs and gifts.
