This year, the Anglia in Bloom judging will be on Friday 8th July. We want to ensure the town is looking at its best for judging day so we are holding a “volunteer day” on Wednesday 6th July. Our aim is to tidy the town’s planters and add a few extra plants, add to the Old Sale Yard display, litter pick if necessary, and generally make the town look great.

The day will run from 10am and last until 4pm (unless we complete all our jobs earlier). If you are free for any time on the day we would really appreciate your help. We plan to meet at 10am at the Market Cross to agree on working groups and assign tasks. After that you will find us busy around the town.

Please bring gloves, a trowel, and fork with you. There are no specific numbers of volunteers required, but the more of us there are the better the town will look. Please circulate this information to anyone you think may be able to help us.

We hope to improve on our Silver Gilt award earned in 2019 - and maybe even go for Gold!
