Did you know expressive writing that comes from within ourselves, that is written solely for ourselves, has been shown to calm emotions and help still the mind? This form of writing encourages feelings of compassion, meaning we become kinder to ourselves and to others.

Join Lyn Hazleton each week in a series of five therapeutic writing workshops where she will gently guide you through a series of creative prompts designed to inspire and encourage you to find the real you that resides within.

Each week will have a different theme and the emphasis will be on enabling feelings of wellbeing and relaxation.

Reading out written responses will be invited but there will be no obligation whatsoever to share. All you will need to bring is a notebook (or paper) and a pen.

These workshops will run for five consecutive weeks beginning on Monday 21st November at 11am for one hour in Wymondham Library and are open to anyone aged 18 and above. The cost is £25 for all 5 sessions. You can book your place by contacting Lyn directly at lyn.hazleton@btinternet.com or mobile 07719 736600.

Lyn Hazleton is a writer, a qualified psychotherapeutic counsellor, an artist and a committed yoga practitioner. She has over 10 years experience working with people in a therapeutic setting.
