A cheery ‘Hello’ to all readers. It’s an honour to be able to talk to you all with my own page within Wymondham Magazine after launching my business just a couple of years ago. For a new business owner, choosing to start up in March 2020 just as the world came to a total halt... it was certainly unprecedented and precarious times and quite the grind. Without the invaluable support of family and friends, alongside the many wonderful clients who have entrusted me from those difficult times and since, I dare say I wouldn’t be sat here writing this article. I hold you all very dear.

Heading into my third year of business is a great feeling. But to me the privilege is being able to call Wymondham home, not to mention basing my business here too. Born and raised in North Yorkshire, followed by a move to Scotland and living for 15 years in Portugal, deciding to settle in Norfolk’s most beloved Market Town (as far as I’m concerned) was an easy choice. As a local agent, I regularly meet people who have the same wish for the very same reasons – simply adding to the joy of welcoming them into their new homes.

Wymondham Magazine as a local initiative has been a part of my journey for a good while, and now feels like the perfect time to step up my support in a way that benefits as many people as possible. My aim moving forward is to offer useful tips and advice for potential buyers and existing homeowners, and I won’t forget landlords and tenants also, so whatever your situation I’m here for you. My approach will cover the local property market and how. You can positively influence your journey as a buyer and seller when the time comes to move.

There is no time like the present to get started, so if you are considering or preparing a move at this time, have a think about the full picture and dedicate some time to getting all your sheep in a row. The selling phase itself can be complex enough and taking care to instruct the right agent is key in so many ways. However, do not underestimate the impact of instructing the right legal and financial expert. These decisions are important and should be made early on in your process. Just like agents, they are there to ensure you can make informed decisions, keep your journey moving forward and to safeguard your position. And yes, fees are a serious consideration, but note that what you pay isn’t always as influential as who you pay…

So, despite not being a talented writer (apologies in advance), I am excited about putting pen to paper for future editions. I apologise for the puns in advance, but as ewe know, it’s good to have an expert in their field around… and sheep do know their fields. You have an open invite to contact me at any time for guidance and support. If there is a discussion point that you’re particularly interested in, simply let me know – don’t be sheepish! Until next time.

Contacting me couldn’t be easier…
