Pam & Ken Baker moved from Bicester to Wymondham more than 30 years ago, with Ken taking up a role as a Publishing Consultant, developing the book publishing side of Hymns Ancient and Modern at Canterbury Press.

He served as Churchwarden at Wymondham Abbey for nine years, also acting as joint Secretary and Treasurer of Friends of the Abbey. After retiring, Ken spent many happy hours pursuing his passion of painting and in his garden which he loved so much, along with sharing time with his family of three children, three grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Ken passed away on 17th June, just one day short of exactly 10 years since his beloved wife Pam died in 2012. 

Ken’s funeral will be held at Breckland Crematorium on Thursday 14th July at 2pm.
