Fairland Green Tree Planting Ceremony for Queen’s Green Canopy

The Wymondham Women's Institute and Wymondham Dementia Support Group are planting a tree on Fairland Green as part of the Queen's canopy to celebrate the Platinum Jubilee, and now in memory of Queen Elizabeth II.

The event is planned for Friday 2nd December 2022 on Fairland Green, Wymondham beginning at 11:00am.

Greening Wymondham will be undertaking the planting of the tree and all its members have been invited to attend to mark the occasion.

Wymondham Dementia Support Group will be providing tea and cake at the United Reform Church which overlooks fairland green and all of its members have been invited to attend.

Wymondham Women's Institute has funded the project and all of its members have been invited to attend.

The celebration of the Platinum Jubilee in being part of the Queen's Green Canopy and also now in memory of Queen Elizabeth II is a poignant point in time and your presence would be greatly appreciated to help reinforce its significance and importance.
