Professional rugby players Tommy Freeman and Jake Garside of Northampton Saints returned to their home club at Wymondham recently to catch up with old team mates and coaches down at Barnard Fields.
Tommy, 21, is regularly in the starting fifteen for Saints in the Premiership and has scored nine tries so far this season from both full back and wing. He started his rugby career at Wymondham and won the Norfolk Cup with his Under-16 team before heading off to Northamptonshire.
Scrum half Jake, 19, played minis and youth rugby at Wymondham before joining the Saints academy. He played his first senior game for the Saints this season, scoring on his debut in the Premiership Cup.
“It was fantastic to see them both back again,” said club chairman Paul Wootton. “They’re incredibly talented players at the start of their careers and we’re tremendously proud of them. It’s going to be exciting to see where the next few years takes them."
