The Shed has recently had a defibrillator and bleed kit installed in our front porch and it is fully accessible 24 hours a day to the Wymondham Community. It is registered with the East of England Ambulance Service and Circuit, the National Defibrillator Network.

We are now one of six defibrillator sites within the Wymondham area. To see your local defibrillators visit www.defibfinder.uk. More information on the Bleed Kit can be found at controlthebleed.org.uk

We were able to cover the cost of the defibrillator and bleed kit with a very kind donation from a member's father. All the members of The Shed are very grateful for such a charitable contribution to our project. We were also able to install CCTV to cover the perimeter of our building with the remainder of the donation.

The Shed, based in Wymondham, is a fast-growing, friendly, welcoming community and charity with over 60 members. The sessions are divided into male and female groups as well as mixed and includes a large variety of crafting activities from woodturning to watercolour painting, carpentry to crochet and many more. Equipment and materials are provided. There is also the opportunity to share skills and knowledge – we have members skilled in music, IT, model making and much more.
