Wymondham Photographic Society held an awards night this month to celebrate its star contributors.

Two particular stars emerged: Anthony Cooves (Tier 1) won both the cumulative print and projected image competitions and achieved Printed Image of the Year. Jez Wood did the same in Tier 2.

Then Fran Grimsdell won Tier 1’s Projected Image of the Year, and Craig Harriss won the Tier 2 version. Dom Byrne won the Landscape Picture of the Year, and Stephen Bould was voted Most Improved Photographer in Tier 1.

The Society are holding an exhibition in August to show off these photographers’ incredible work! It is at Central Hall on 15th-16th August – don’t miss it. You can also see many of these photographers’ work in previous articles in Wymondham Magazine – here’s an example if you missed it.
